About Us

Quality by Tradition

We were founded by third-generation plantation owners who are dedicated to producing exceptional coffee and spices from farms in India’s the Western Ghats. Our estates have been producing Arabica and Robusta coffee beans, as well as cardamom and black pepper, since the late 1800s. A decade ago, the Western Ghats, was regarded as one of the world’s eight “hottest hotspots” of biological diversity and was placed on the UNESCO World Natural Heritage list.
On our plantation, we grow Arabica and Robusta coffee, which we process in three ways: washed, natural, and honey coffee. We also cultivate black pepper and cardamom.

Our crops are grown on slopes with two levels of shade provided by native jungle trees and erythrina lithosphere trees. This canopy, in addition to housing a wide range of species of animals, birds, insects, and reptiles, creates a micro-environment unlike any other.

Our soil is rich in humus and organic matter, as well as abundant natural minerals, and it is home to some of the most diverse and rare soil microbes and fungi. We use time-tested practices that use organic and inorganic inputs, with a constant awareness of our impact on the local ecology and the long-term sustainability of our environment.
