ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION (ED) / IMPOTENCE
Erectile Dysfunction (also called Impotence or Problem having an erection) is the inability to attain or maintain Erection or ability to achieve Ejaculation at heightened level of Sexual Activity.
It is a common male disorder usually affecting older men that significantly impacts quality of life and well being. Erectile Dysfunction affects 50% of men older than 60 years of age. Younger men typically report a great degree of bother than older men which leads them to seek treatment at the earliest. Risk factors and co-morbid conditions for cardiac diseases like hypertension, diabetes, hyper-cholesterolemia, work related stress, depression and metabolic syndrome contribute to ED. Lifestyle factors including smoking, obesity and lack of exercise are also significant predictors of ED.




LOSS OF LIBIDO
Loss of libido means the loss of desire for sexual activity. It is a natural phenomenon for men to have a reduced sexual drive as they age. Generally men experience a loss of libido after the age of 60 but it may happen earlier as well. Sometimes this condition can occur much earlier due to an underlying medical condition or psychological issues.
In Ayurveda, loss of libido is a part of klaibya (sexual dysfunction) disorder. Klaibya causes disinterest in sexual activity and loss of desire.
NOCTURNAL EMISSION/ SWAPAN DOSH
Nocturnal Emission/ Night fall/ Wet Dream/ Swapandosha is a condition in which a person suffering from this disorder has spontaneous ejaculation of semen during his sleep. This is invariably triggered by an erotic dream.
Night discharge generally happens to teenagers and men in their early years of adulthood, but this can occur any time after puberty.
Nocturnal emission treatment As per Ayurveda this disorder is a result of excessive pitta (or heat) in the body.




MASTURBATION ADDICTION
The term “masturbation addiction” is used to refer to a tendency to excessively or compulsively masturbate. Masturbation is healthy as long as you are engaging in it for once in a while, but becomes a disease when done excessively.
DHAT SYNDROME
Dhat syndrome or Spermatorrhoea means involuntary loss of semen, which generally takes place during sleep or under various conditions (during urination or at stool) at other times. It is often associated with irritability and debility of the generative organs.
It is a condition in which the male patients suffer from premature ejaculation or impotence, and believe that they are passing semen in their urine. Young men from a rural background or of a lower socioeconomic status typically complain of this syndrome.
Dhat is the name given to the collective symptoms, such as sexual, psychological, and physical related to the passing of a whitish fluid, believed to be semen in urine. This is usually followed by psychological distress, weakness, lack of appetite, poor concentration and guilt and anxiety due to semen-loss in patients.




Small/ Curved Penis
People with small penis syndrome or PDD do not have an unusually small penis. Instead, they are severely anxious about their penis size.
Having a small penis is not a medical diagnosis. Very rarely, a person’s penis is small enough to interfere with sexual functioning, and doctors will refer to it as a micropenis.
